The first CELS/Shearman & Sterling Negotiation Competition was held in the Faculty of Law on Saturday, 4 February 2006.  Twenty-four second-year students entered.

Shearman & Sterling are pleased to announce that the winners of the Negotiation Competition are as follows:

First place: Stephanie Tang (Christ's College) & Yvonne Tew (Fitzwilliam College)

Second place: Laura Seddon & Ebuwa Uwubamwen (both Sidney Sussex College)

Third place: Edward Ho & Daniel Warents (Downing College)

The winning team received £500 and both team members were invited to undertake a summer vacation placement with Shearman & Sterling.  The second and third placed teams were awarded £250 and £100 respectively.  In awarding the prizes, Shearman & Sterling partner, Patrick Clancy, praised the quality of the teams that entered and hoped that the competition would be at least as enjoyable next year.
