Shearman & Sterling and the Centre for European Legal Studies will once again be organising a Negotiation Game for Cambridge Part 1B Law students. The Competition will take place on Saturday 23rd February 2013 at the Faculty of Law.

The Competition aims to provide an opportunity for students to develop key legal skills in an informal setting.  Twelve pairs of students will negotiate on behalf of a party or client in a fictional dispute or contract negotiation against another team.  The aim of the competition is to give students a practical insight into how best to promote and protect clients in negotiations, and to fulfill their strategic or commecial objectives.  No prior experience or preparation is required.  Shearman & Sterling are also offering a cash prize to the winning teams.

Applications for the competition should be sent to Felicity Eves-Rey (CELS, Faculty of Law, 10 West Road, Cambridge) by 5pm on Monday 18th February 2013.  Places will be issued on a first come first serve basis.

Entry forms and further information can be found below:

Enquries should be directed to Felicity Eves-Rey.
